The long awaited Bob Mader monograph–a limited edition pressing–is being released to the public to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the artist’s passing.

Great care has been taken in selecting images from the archives of this prolific photographer and many are previously unseen. The resulting tour de force includes writings from the artist’s journals and essays by eminent art and photography critics.

The monograph opens with Bob Mader’s intriguing–at times shocking–work documenting the sixties and seventies, passes through his highly creative career as “one of the most intriguing portrait photographers of the late 20th Century” and concludes with the elegiac landscapes “filled with confident introspection and peace” taken after his diagnosis with cancer in 2001.

The images are presented in high-resolution offset prints. Each monograph is individually estate stamped and hand-numbered on the final endpaper.
